indigo skies + summer sunsets part 2

The music set the ideal mood and it was a perfect collaboration. Exceeding my expectations.

It was such a pleasure to work with hair stylist and makeup artist extraordinaire Hellianna.  It's always a bit of a challenge to work with others but I think my favorite part of this whole experience was getting the opportunity to collaborate with another artist doing her thing and to see how her creations added to the mood of my creations and helped them come alive.  It was a little magical even. It certainly was exciting.  And its always interesting to experience the emotions. I begin the journey a bit hesitant, totally nervous with a side of dread. Then the show starts and finishes in minutes and I have such a high with how awesome it turned out it's like I want to do it all over again immediately.  Wearing a huge smile with a bit of adrenaline, all my beautiful 'bayou bohemians' high with excitement, it's kinda addictive.  But the reality...it's a lot of work and filled with chaos (my least favorite thing). In anticipation of show time I even question if I can handle all the chaos. Maybe it's good for me...

The RAW New Orleans Mixology was a huge success for me I would declare.  Exposure is priceless.  I received many wonderful and appreciative comments when I paraded my gals down the runway one last time. It filled me with a satisfying joy of accomplishment. I am putting myself out there.  I am facing some of my biggest challenges. I am getting an empowering response. However big or small, it is gratifying.
