"I give you this ring as a symbol of my love, my faith in our strength together, and my promise to learn and grow with you. As it encircles your finger, may it remind you always that you are surrounded by my enduring love."
Learning and growing we most definitely are. I believe that's the most important thing. We are learning who we are exactly as individuals, as a couple, as a family and we are growing together! The best commitment I have ever made.
"Now we are two persons, but there is only one life before us. May beauty continue to surround us both in our journey ahead and through all the years. May happiness be our companion and our days together be good and long upon the earth."
I believe it was less then 2 months of planning and preparing everything for our big day. I made my dress and my mini rose headpiece from the dozen of tiny roses he brought me on our first date and my veil was cut from an antique lace curtain. Also my little's flower girl fairy dress and one of my bridesmaid dresses along with the salvaged aged wood signs and I'm sure I'm forgetting something. My hubby made the arbor which stood as the back drop for our ceremony from fallen trees along the Atchafalaya River bank. Many great friends and our loving family came together to help pull everything together.
