Our bathroom makeover. Slowly but surely.
We have replaced the old ceiling with aged tin and are going to rip up the vinyl rug to reveal the wood floors like in the rest of the house. We are putting 12" square slate tiles on the bottom half of the walls and around the bath. With earth pigmented plaster on the top using a specific technique called tadelakt to create a waterproof plaster. We are excited and anxious about the bathroom being completed and experimenting with this new technique but hesitant to get started due to some time constraints. Often times I feel like just jumping right in but I am bit intimidated with not knowing what might get exposed. As you can see it definitely needs lots of work.
